Summary

The turning point was so amazing， the art really just wraps the reader in。 Im expecting amazing things from the main character now。

I am personally enjoying my read through the manga and am liking it better than the anime。The art is beautiful， the action， the characters design， it all just seems to look and feel better than in the anime。 Now this is just me but I also seem to follow things better in the manga then I did in the anime。Yamori/Jason's character comes across a lot better in the manga， he looks and feels more horrifying especially when he's in the manga。 I am personally enjoying my read through the manga and am liking it better than the anime。The art is beautiful， the action， the characters design， it all just seems to look and feel better than in the anime。 Now this is just me but I also seem to follow things better in the manga then I did in the anime。Yamori/Jason's character comes across a lot better in the manga， he looks and feels more horrifying especially when he's in the manga。 。。。more

THE ONE WHERE KANEKI BECOMES UNHINGED 😍😍😍 I feel like in the manga there is more to show that Touka really fell for Kaneki， and loves him。 Like that flashback scene where she shows him how to make the coffee。

Rating: 5 Stars This volume heralds a huge shift in tone and character that has widespread effects on the rest of the series。 It is extremely dark， gory， and horrifying。 This is the volume that made me fall in love with Tokyo Ghoul。

Quando li TG pela primeira vez， esse foi o volume que representou a elevação do patamar da história pra mim。 Sete anos e algumas releituras depois， percebo que ele perdeu o impacto da primeira vez。 O que é natural， pois eu já sabia o que aconteceria， mas é uma pena， porque eu queria esquecer essa história para voltar a esse volume e ter as mesmas emoções da primeira leitura。 Sete anos depois e esse volume continua espetacular。 E é engraçado como ele funciona nas mais diversas camadas。 Para quem Quando li TG pela primeira vez， esse foi o volume que representou a elevação do patamar da história pra mim。 Sete anos e algumas releituras depois， percebo que ele perdeu o impacto da primeira vez。 O que é natural， pois eu já sabia o que aconteceria， mas é uma pena， porque eu queria esquecer essa história para voltar a esse volume e ter as mesmas emoções da primeira leitura。 Sete anos depois e esse volume continua espetacular。 E é engraçado como ele funciona nas mais diversas camadas。 Para quem quer uma diversão escapista， tem ótimas lutas e um ritmo frenético。 Pra procura por momentos icônicos， tem de sobra。 Pra quem gosta de estudos de personagem os capítulos 61， 62 e 63 são um prato cheio。Me incomoda um pouco como uma parte do fandom se apega a alguns aspectos dessa passagem e exaltam sem prestar atenção em quanta coisa foda tem por trás。 Vai muito além de um trejeito cool ou de uma mudança estética。 Vai além do edgy。 Vai no âmago do que o Ishida prometeu no volume um， que é a tragédia enquanto gênero。 Não tô aqui pra cagar regra na leitura alheia， afinal cada um aproveita a experiência da forma como quer/pode， mas eu recomendo tentar ver além do estalar de dedos e das frases de efeito。 。。。more

Over the course of reading all the books in this series i found it so interesting that the author made every book different。 I also loved how when the ghouls were talking in a fight the author made there speak bubbles black。 Also i was really shocked that all of the ghoul investigators still thought rize was alive XD。 Lastly， These books were very fun to read and i wonder whats going to happen to kaneki and anteiku next。

This one was so good！ While the CCG raids the 11th ward to take out the ghouls there， Anteiku members organize themselves to take out the Aogiri tree and their main mission is to rescue Ken but the main thing is the torture of Ken by Jason/Yamori like he clips his fingers and what not and after a while Ken breaks thinking of his mother， hallucinations of Rize but then the greatest thing happens when the transformation happens， the kind hearted Ken is gone and the dark one who now knows he has to This one was so good！ While the CCG raids the 11th ward to take out the ghouls there， Anteiku members organize themselves to take out the Aogiri tree and their main mission is to rescue Ken but the main thing is the torture of Ken by Jason/Yamori like he clips his fingers and what not and after a while Ken breaks thinking of his mother， hallucinations of Rize but then the greatest thing happens when the transformation happens， the kind hearted Ken is gone and the dark one who now knows he has to be stronger and then what he does to Jason is bloody， brutal， torturous， graphic and awesome。 This is where the manga gets super good as we have the darker Ken and as he defeats Jason its wow and rescues the trapped people， meanwhile Anteiku comes across Ayato and the cops meet the one eyed owl。 Some interesting things with Juzo。 This volume was brilliant in every sense and the art was on a whole other level here！ 。。。more

I remember from the anime this volume portion of the story being so gripping， and while there were still elements that did intrigue me， it didn't hit as hard as I'd like。 Maybe that's because I knew what was coming？ That， or the fact so much of Kankei's backstory is introduced to us， and that backstory influences the main story in a big way。 It would've been nice if we'd known about， or if Kaneki had even mentioned his past before this volume， as it read as if the author was making it up on the I remember from the anime this volume portion of the story being so gripping， and while there were still elements that did intrigue me， it didn't hit as hard as I'd like。 Maybe that's because I knew what was coming？ That， or the fact so much of Kankei's backstory is introduced to us， and that backstory influences the main story in a big way。 It would've been nice if we'd known about， or if Kaneki had even mentioned his past before this volume， as it read as if the author was making it up on the spot to serve his purposes。Also， I forget his name， but there is one openly gay character in this volume （and volume 6）， and he is a massive stereotype in the most negative sense。 One of the bad guys uses "queer" as a slur - but， you know， he's a bad guy？ So？ - but the depiction of the character in of himself shows the author isn't exactly kind to LGBT+ people， which just leaves me unsettled with a bad taste in my mouth。I hate seeing so many issues with a series I used to love， and while I think I will continue， I'm taking a break to read something that better not have the casual sexism （and now homophobia） that this series does。 。。。more
